Due to continued growth this Townsville based Investment firm is looking to secure the services of a professional and dynamic Financial Controller. This position is to ensure completion of the internal accounts function, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, BAS, EOM reconciliation and Management Reporting. This position will also require the successful applicant to assist/advise and /or create accounting procedures for international offices of this company. To be considered for this permanent role, the successful candidate must have the following personal and professional attributes - Technical Skills - be fully conversant with the use of MYOB and Microsoft Office products. Must have a high level of understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles and to be able to demonstrate experience in a related or similar field. Must have good writing skills and be able to apply financial skills to produce accurate and timely management reports. Personal - must be professional, a team player and have the ability to maintain effective communication in all aspects of dealing with both clients and staff. Must be self motivated, have strong problem resolution skills and have the ability to work unsupervised. Must have the ability to accept and grasp new tasks in a timely and effective manner.
