The first impression: they are Maths wizards. They have this insatiable passion for numbers and computations, stuff that have something to do with logic, symbols, and figures. The average people get mesmerised at how they manage to come up with ledgers and journals showing records of accounts collectible, assets, liabilities, capital, and all other accounting stuff. Here is your introduction on accounts jobs.
Right now, the demand is great for accounts jobs, specifically for accounts administrations officers and accounts clerks, in the country. What is the difference between the two types of accounts jobs mentioned? What are the duties and responsibilities associated with each. Read on:
As an accounts administration officer, he is expected to be among the front liners in a financial institution. He zeroes in what the firm's clients requirements are and then turns the clients over to the right product or service offerings that the company has for them. He is also in charge with clients' records checkings, receiving and shelling out money to clients, and keep a record of what transactions have occured and what other transactions need to be done.
He also has the authority to close or open clients' bank accounts. Aside from this, the accounts administration officer is also in charge with giving advice to clients and checking their credit standings as well as their other credentials when they would like to pursue a transaction with or using the bank.
The accounts clerk also perform some of the duties of an accounts administration officer, yet on a lower level. The accounts clerk is also permitted to help clients pursue their transactions but are limited to the money request, receipt, or invoice only and the arrangements. They also help in checking the credentials of the client and in doing safety checks, which is most probably every finance employee's responsibility.
