This well known media organisation is currently looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join its collections management team to contribute to the maintenance, storage and preservation of their tape collections.

Duties will include:

• Processing loans, dispatches and returns of items held in the videotape and audio collections including the preparation of tape bookings for TV Productions
• Accessing and using database systems to answer enquires and accurately maintain records.
• Collection management duties such as shelving, handling, retrieval, accessions and processing of blank tape stock
• Translate daily schedules ensuring versions are correct, tapes required are timed, checked and delivered to TV Presentation and assist with the smooth delivery of all scheduled programs.

You will need relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in the delivery of collection management services , and the ability to process loans, dispatches and returns using Collection Management database systems - plus a current Driver's Licence.

Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills essential. A museum studies background is highly desirable
