Highly regarded full service advertising agency seeks a senior .NET developer with strong digital media background for their large digital division. Work closely with a talented team of .NET, front end, and Flash specialists, along with digital designers and producers, to design an d build great technical solutions for a wide variety of projects. Reporting directly to the technical director, you will be the most senior back end developer with design lead responsibilities and potential for future promotion to a tech lead position.

You will need to be an expert .NET developer with:

  • advanced C#, SQL and ASP skills
  • strong XML, XHTML and CSS experience
  • Experience implementing Web Services using SOAP
  • strong Javascript skills (jQuery ideally)
  • IIS config and admin experience preferred

Any additional experience in areas like WCF, .NET CMSs, LINQ, UML, REST, ORM, XML schema design, or other languages (eg. PHP, Ruby, Perl, Actionscript) would be highly regarded. Personal qualities such as strong organisational skills, an ability to meet deadlines, flexibility and helpfulness, quality focus, ability to innovate, and passion for your work are equally, if not more, important than technical abilities. Finally a strong commitment to industry best practice is essential due to involvement in large, complex projects for major clients in areas like e-commerce.
