If you would like to be employed as an architect, you first have to possess the knowledge and skills required in order to do the modeling, designing, oversight, and planning of a building?s construction. This is important because architects have to make sure that the structure they are building complies with safety requirements and build regulations because the safety of people is in line. Architects can specialise in some areas of study such as real estate development, construction management, and interior design, among others. Since the title of architect can only be achieved by registering in state boards, you have to make sure that you qualify. Qualifications include a degree from an AACA-accredited school of architecture, practical experience of a minimum of two years, and passing the architectural practice examination. Once you have been registered as an architect, you can then apply for various architect jobs or find employers who will be willing to give you more training.
