    The primary role of an automotive technician is to check that all parts of the vehicle are working properly.     Experience is an important factor for hiring automotive technicians. The position involves a good command of the mechanical process thus entry-level positions are less likely to be hired. Passion for cars is an advantage since the role involves tweaking of parts for optimal performance.
