International Banking Officer Jobs

Multi-national companies usually do their business with other countries through international banks. Payments, funds, and loans, international banks perform these banking functions, albeit on a larger scale than local banks. An international banking officer's job is to facilitate and speed up such transactions of this type.

An international banking officer performs tasks that are similar to any other bank officer like receiving money or cheques from customers and depositing them into the accounts, and opening and closing such accounts. However, international banking officers have additional tasks that include:

• Providing information for international banking inquiries
• Represent a multi-national company in local business transactions
• Recordkeeping of import and export finances
• Conducting foreign currency exchange for tourists and travelers
• Customer referral

Job Qualifications

Job applicants should be a graduate of business related courses such as business management, accountancy, economics, etc., or have a five-year working experience in a similar field. International banking officer jobs can compensate well, since an annual entry salary can be $30,000 or more.
