Computer-aided designs are commonly used in the production of plans, layouts, and drafts for various industries. CAD Operators in Building Construction

Since CAD software is highly technical and possesses great potential for design, applicants must be thoroughly familiar with such programs. College education is often a must, since employers seek applicants who have specialized or trained in relevant fields such as engineering. Because CAD has a wide number of applications, it is important to employers that CAD designers looking to go into building construction have relevant experience.
