Civil Engineer - Design / Project Manager, NSW Rail Projects

Our Client requires a Design Manager / Project Manager to assist in the delivery of various major NSW Rail Contracts. You will be working with Civil Design Engineers to ensure that designs are efficient, cost effective and delivered on time and to specification. You will have worked in either the civil, construction or rail industries previously.

                                                            Main Duties:

• To ensure the integration of design and construction
• To work with the Design Team and the Affiliates with regards to the scope of work.
• To work closely with various Project Managers to ensure that the clients needs are met.
• Measure, monitor and communicate progress of design deliverables to facilitate effective team work with Construction Affiliates
• Liaise with Planner to ensure that design activity is integrated within the planning process.

It is essential that you have the following skills and experience to apply:

• A degree as a Civil Engineer
• Understanding design/construction interface
• Experience (5 years or more) in pre-construction Feasability and design management.
• Be currently working for a reputable design firm in Australia
