Civil Contract Engineer - Water

As a qualified engineer or NZCE level candidate with a good grounding in the design of Water supply, reticulation and treatment, you will utilise your knowledge and communication/organisational skills to influence and plan developmental work, ensuring that financial resources are directed toward key contracts and projects, and the work is carried out to required standards.
The role\'s primary objective will be to co-ordinate maintenance/renewal contracts and capital projects for the improvement of the water services, taking an active role in overseeing design, physical works, contractual agreements, quality assurance/auditing, public consultation and liaison with utilities contractors.
Candidates with local/NZ experience, particularly in the Canterbury region, will be viewed with interest, although candidates bringing offshore experience of relevant projects to similar standards will also be considered.
