Customer services jobs covers a lot of ground, all of them essentially focused on pleasing the customer. There are a lot of facets of the job within the industry, and its focus is on enhancing communication of a company to its customers to find out what products or services to provide, and how to improve them.

Here are other jobs available in customer services
  • Market Analysts- responsible for gathering information necessary in the implementation of marketing campaigns, customer care programs, and other procedures in order to maintain a company's customer care activities.
  • Bilingual or Multi-Lingual Phone Operators- customer service employees who accommodate calls from foreign countries. These calls are mostly inbound and regarding technical support on products and services. Most popular languages are Korean, German and Mandarin.
  • Consumer Advocates- creators of customer experience simulations that supply the company with information in order to achieve desired outcomes and profits for the company.
  • Sales Representative Consultants- the people who provide advise and technical expertise on how to effectively persuade customers to make purchases. They may work independently or employed by a customer service firm.
  • Customer and Employee Researchers- responsible for gathering data on customer demographics or specific customers, sizing up employee skills and abilities, etc. customer and employee researchers are extremely important in resolving customer complaints against an employee, although the job can be controversial at times because it can involve invading a person's privacy.
  • Information Technology (IT) Specialists- customer service has become technologically dependent on computer softwares and networking, and IT specialists are required to install and maintain these necessary technologies.
Other popular customer services jobs are Technical Support, Telephony Specialists, Customer Facing Operatives, etc. Basic requirement for job applicants is a bachelor's degree. Managerial jobs usually require a graduate degree and/or five years of relative customer service experience.
