This global company is a world leader in engineered products and equipment. As a business-to-business supplier to industrial and commercial customers, in the resources, utilities and manufacturing sectors, they provide a broad range of products, services and solutions. They are now seeking a well rounded Financial Controller with an enthusiastic and a “hands on attitude” for one of their national business units.

Reporting to the General Manager and leading a small finance team, you will be a key member of the management team. Your focus is to ensure the financial well being of this business unit by proactively monitoring and analysing performance, identifying issues and opportunities and then working closely with other line managers to improve performance. In addition you will,

  • Develop and implement strategies and processes to develop business plans.
  • Participate in tender and contract reviews
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures; and
  • Optimize the management reporting system to compile and analyse all aspects of budget, performance and targets.

Ideally you possess tertiary qualifications in a commercial discipline and are a CA or CPA with experience in business planning methodologies and at least 5 years in a work environment associated with manufacturing and/or engineering.
