Senior Systems Engineer

Are you a senior systems engineer in WA looking to break into the defence industry? This role could be for you...!!

Due to continuing growth, the company is presently looking to recruit an additional systems engineer to work on a large scale project. This is a great opportunity to work on some highly sophisticated and leading edge projects with a growing and well respected defence organisation.

The Role

• Prepare systems design, implementation and testing 
• Guide & mentor junior engineers
• Provide suggestions on system improvements
• Ensure compliance with organizational and commonwealth safety standards
• Liaise with internal and/or external customers

  This company is a national organisation whose core business is within the defence/naval industry

Requirements

• Experience in systems integration projects involving complex electronic and signalling systems would advantageous
• Preparation of equipment and component performance specifications, systems design documentation, and technical review documents
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications
• Experience in the complete  systems development lifecycle such as requirements management, system design and definition, and system testing through to customer acceptance

System Engineers who have no defence background but have worked on large scale projects in railway or transportation projects are encouraged to apply.

A generous salary package reflective of skills and experience. Interstate travel may be required depending on the projects with which you are working.
