You should take note of various details and make sure that everything is planned and taken care of in advance so that you won't have to hurry on the day of the event.

      This position will require you to have experience in event management. If you have extensive experience as an assistant banqueting manager, that could be your stepping stone to getting banqueting manager jobs. Having previously worked in catering will also work to your advantage. In order for you to get banqueting manager jobs, you must first work your way up the career ladder. You can start out by taking some internships as these will be able to give you the experience you need. Keep in mind, though, that your attitude towards your work is important because loving the work you do will make it easier for you to do better.
