Support staff are critical to a project – while the construction team are firmly entrenched on production and subsequent project delivery, no less important are th e staff who can advise them regarding the company obligations regarding safety, environment, community and possibly one of the more important advisory issues – people and staff management.
 
In2work has been requested to source Human and Industrial Relations experts on behalf of 4 Top Tier international contractors who operate in the a number of different markets, most notably in the EPCM, Civil Infrastructure and Building Construction Markets – the projects are range from CV$200m up to CV$6b, are city based and also FIFO, and the rosters on offer are a mix of either 10 days on 4 days off, 21 days on 7 days off or in some cases, dependent on your personal circumstance and their requirements, they will be willing to negotiate a different roster.
 
Staff turnover in all 4 Contractors is very low compared to Industry standards due to the emphasis placed on Safety, Training and Development of employees to their fullest potential – in short, they are devoted to employee satisfaction hence their excellent staff retention.
 
Roles on offer:
 
  • Human Resources Manager
Required for a CV$500m Oil and Gas Project in Nth Qld. FIFO role, reporting to the Project Director, management of a team of Advisors and Admin, development and implementation of a HR/IR plan on site, capital expenditure management, Compliance to all relevant acts etc.   Tertiary Engineering Qualifications essential.
 
  • Senior HR/IR Advisor
Required ASAP – WA Based, CV$200m Infrastructure project, Internationally renowned Contractor, relocation and LAFHA considered along with outstanding package on offer, Experience in union liaison and negotiations, experienced project team and excellent project support structure. Project Based.
 
  • HR Advisors
Office/FIFO roles, excellent packages, benefits and incentives, reporting to the HR Manager, devising recruitment strategies, retention strategies, maintaining records, driving training initiatives across the project, dealing with Employee complaints and other duties as required – site loading and allowances provided.
