My client, a large IT managed services organisation are seeking a senior Java Developer to join their team. This great career opportunity allows you to move into a leadership and me ntoring role for more junior Java Developers. You will be involved with design, coding, testing and documenting as well.

 

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills:

7+ years experience designing and implementing commercial systems that involve Java based technologies and frameworks (e.g. Hibernate, Struts, Spring, DoJo, GWT).

Agile method of delivery

Unix V OS

Experience programming in Java & SQL.

Excellent communication skills

 

It is desirable that you have the following skills:

Salesforce experience (Object Query, APEX, Visual Force)

XP, Vista, Windows 2003

ESRI or other GIS software

Oracle SOA suite

Web logic or Aqua Logic

Websphere Application Server

Oracle and SQL 2005 (or later version)

Understanding of SOA Principles
