Job description

Since they are mostly office-based, IT architect jobs often involve administrative and clerical work on top of the main duties. Most architect jobs will have you performing one or more of the following:

Most architecture jobs require a degree in a relevant field such as programming or database management. While some companies will hire people from other fields, a background or credits in IT subjects will work greatly to your advantage. Experience in similar architecture jobs or IT services jobs are also very helpful, especially when you're up for promotions.
