Journalist Jobs

Although there are many types of journalist jobs available today, they are all involved with the process of gathering, writing, and disseminating information regarding current events, issues, people, and trends.

One of the common journalist jobs are reporters or reportorial jobs. They are responsible for the articles and information that are published in newspapers and magazines, or the reports that are aired or broadcasted by television networks and radio stations. Aside from the print and broadcast media, reporters may also be required to produce articles and reports for the Internet.

Journalists or reporters are trained to practice professional reporting characterized by truth, accuracy, fairness, and balance. As such, they are basically required to have a good education or background on journalism and its underlying principles, such as ethics and professionalism in writing.

Journalists may choose to work or be assigned in specific reportorial fields, and as such may work as sports journalists, features journalists, and business journalists.
