Any doctor who will be working in a general practice or prescribing drugs must also apply to the Health Insurance Commission for a medicare provider number.

It is possible to gain employment in the medical industry without special qualifications but you will be limited in the duties you are allowed to perform. Working conditions for other health care workers vary greatly depending on weather they are employed by the government or a private organization with full time and part time work available in most organizations. Salary will depend greatly on previous experience within the industry and any studying background.
