Australian employers will have to work hard to keep their full-time staff and keep them satisfied in the current, tight labour market.
Not only are they struggling to find the right candidate to fill positions but employers are also facing a struggle to keep quality staff from leaving for greener pastures.
The New Year should see employers make a concerted effort to increase staff training initiatives, and entitlements in an effort to keep their workers not only happy but also challenged on the job.
