Job Vacancies Keep Growing

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released figures in Canberra today, showing that total job vacancies increased across the board in November.

There was a 4.2% increase on the August figures with 181,800 job vacancies for November 2007.

The number of job vacancies in the private produced an increase of 4.2% compared to the previous month with 162,900 job vacancies in November 2007.

The number of job vacancies in the public sector also showed an increase with 18,900 job vacancies in November 2007, an increase of 4.0% from August 2007.
