Graduate jobs give a great opportunity to students coming out of university, as they generally provide a general overview of the functions of an industry by providing real world experience. On completion of graduate programs, many former students find they have become much more desirable to potential employers, as they will have both theoretical and practical knowledge of what their work requires.
Graduate jobs may not pay as much as other, but they will often make up for this through the variety of experiences on offer or with opportunity for advancement at the end of the graduate program. While others may find they are making more in a more specific position, graduate jobs have a good chance of leading you to the position you'd prefer due to having a broader understanding of the industry.
If you're unsure about exactly where your degree will take you and don't mind working hard, you would do well to look into applying for graduate program jobs.
