Director Required For North Shore Location- Early Childhood Trained (ECT)

My client is a private organisation committed to providing the highest standards of care and early childhood development for children from six weeks to six years of age. The centres offer environments that are warm, safe and secure, and are designed to encourage the natural curiosity in each child to flourish. After ten years in operation, my client is still very committed to providing the highest quality of care.  

Currently, a vacancy for a Director exists in the Roseville centre, licenced for 90 children per day.  To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). You will be required to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday. You will be supported by management and your colleagues, all of whom are dedicated to delivering a high quality service. As Director you will be required to uphold the high quality service standards, and ensure the smooth day to day operation of the centre. The successful candidate will have had previous experience as a Director. You will have excellent communication skills and be a proven leader.

The centre is easily accesible by public transport and parking is also available. 

For this role I am looking for someone that is eager to manage a team and deliver amazing results. You will be fun, approachable, confident and ready to succeed! You need to have a \"can-do\" attitude and no task will be too hard!

The person I have in mind will have:
  • Bachelor of Education/ or Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent - recognised by DOCS
  • Proven experience in managing staff and leadership
  • Professional conduct at all times  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A solid understanding of NSW Children\'s Services Regulation 2004 and QIAS principles
  • Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with families and children
  • Current First Aid Certificate
