Expect A Star currently has an exciting cooks role in the North Shore area. In this position you will be required to organise and prepare morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for children 0-5 years of age.
This exclusive centre located in the North Shore of Sydney caters to 76 children each day. They are looking for someone organised and confident and who is able to keep up with the centres needs throughout the growing period. You will prepare and cook 3 meals for the children each day including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Above award hourly rate will be paid to the sucessful candidate with a review at the end of probationary period.
You will have:
- Food Handling (Food Safety and Hygiene) Certificate
- Nutrition
- Menu Planning
- High quality verbal communication skills
- Experience cooking in both a domestic and commercial kitchen
- Ability to meet deadlines and work to a set routine
- Show initiative and work with minimal supervision
- A candidate who is highly organised and efficient in all tasks and duties as you will be responsible for your kitchen
It is preferred that the ideal candidate have experience in working within a child care setting.
